The magician shows a large circular blade on the stage. He starts the motor to prove that it is a genuine saw.
He enters in a box behind the saw declaring that he will try to escape before the saw reaches his body. The magician is locked on the table. The saw starts to move down.
The time is passing and the box is opening but the audience can see that the magician is still imprisoned. Something goes wrong. The Saw is to reach the body. The audience is frightened, the saw crashes down and cuts right through the magician's body. Two parts of the box are separated… but he is not dead. Boxes are rejoined, the saw returns upward and the magician's body is restored.
